5:40:04 PM | This is a list of fixes in the version that was released February 1st, 2006. All existing customers with a valid license will get free upgrades.
This is a list of features put together by one of our designers:
IG 2.9 NEW FEATURES
1. New Help icon in IG takes you to the online documentation.
2. IG 2.9 has made a breakthrough in processor cycles - noticably faster.
3. Reorder Sortkeys on pages, once you had go through all pages to sort them out. Now they are editable directly from one master view on the system page!
4. Rich edit updated to handle special printing characteres. (copyright symbol, etc.)
5. Flash Movie support as an image.
6. New "Site Map" template...very cool!
7. IG Wiz bugs fixed.
8. New splash page option in site designs.
9. "Who's online now" traffic page.
10. Register page doesn't show up accidentally anymore.
11. Fixes in Credit Card processing.
12. Fixes in outgoing mail queue. (restricted to 10 retransmits only) Mailing list and users forms have a new webpage field entry space. no more confusing "send speed" option. It now sends 4x as quickly and shows an outgoing queue page to show which messages have been sent.
13. Fixed several "close" buttons to fix a Firefox problem.
14. Backups now download in chunks, improves the backup method.
15. Caching is always turned on - a new reload button.
16. "Virtual Page" template replaces the Hidden Page to jump to other pages in your site or in other sites. Otherwise it behaves just like a page in your site and is visible in navigation or drop downs.
17. New gethtml call to get html from another site. (similar to the old RSS feed feature.) Give it a URL and it will insert that exact html into your page.(think of the possibilities)
18. There are also CSS additions for Title font/position and Nav bar highlight color.
19. Paypal processing has been cleaned up to match changes in their system.
20. No more "wrong image" problem if the path is wrong.
