So what did you do last night in class?  I am curious to see what problems you worked on.

Many but not all have told me topics that they plan on writing their paper on.  In Wednesday's class I'll try an put together a list of names and topics.  Maybe some of you that haven't told me already will have topics by then.

I will spend some time talking about the number theory in Euclid's Elements.  I thought that I would remove the picture of Euclid and replace it with Archimedes.  But maybe someone will have a better suggestion.  Who would you like to see?  And what image?  Also from which source?
