A Ring Of Chainsaws and A Spiral Of Umbrellas and ..2 = .002

These are images made by students in my M519 class last fall.  The ring of chainsaws was made by Tom and the spiral of umbrellas by Joe.


The last note on the headline is ..2 = .002.  Notice the extra decimal point in front of the 2 on the left.  I had trouble drawing Joe's picture until I noticed the extra decimal point.  I tried  ..2 and .002 and both worked.


What would ...2 equal?
