Features in 2.95
Calendar
-Now supports recurring events (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly)
-Events now store start and end times, location, contact, and uploaded files
-Calendar now shows thumbnails
Shopping Cart
-Supports custom shipping methods based on price, weight, or quantity.
-Inventory control debits count automatically
-SKU numbers on products (and passed through cart)
Email
-Contact form emails using field names (not USER1, USER2, etc.)
-Newsletter system doesn't allow you to send pages that are hidden
-Newsletter unsubscribe text has been trimmed.
Templates
-Discussion list supports anonymous postings option.
-The virtual page template creates page that exist outside of your site
-"Explorer" template lists files like a Windows Explorer window.
Search:
-The site searches is MUCH faster and more relevant.
-Hide html tags in search results.
Security:
-Password reminder system hides email addresses.
-Shopping cart blocks out credit cards (in stored orders) and tracks client IP address.
Performance:
-Approvals system is faster and easier to use.
-Saving very long pages is now MUCH faster.
Bugs:
-Added "yellow triangle" button to submit bugs or ideas while working on your site.
-Fixed a bug that caused some credit card transactions to be declined.
-Fixed important bug that prevented download of certain files in https:// mode on some sites.
-Fixed a bug that caused splash pages to work improperly.
-Fixed about 300 issues reported by users (minor inconveniences, ideas, etc.)
