2.8 - Email Newsletters Seem to take a while to send.| Author |  | admin

10:43:41 PM | I checked the traffic on your site. It should have all of the messages sent by Sunday. (Basically, go to the "traffic" page and see how many page loads there are per day. You want to send 300 messages, and serve 150-300 pages per day so it will take 1-2 days.)
This is a feature of 2.8. Basically it uses the pace at which pages are loaded to throttle email messages outgoing from the site. (works better at avoiding spam filters). You can always change back to the old "send now" system by clicking "settings" when you are logged in.
